AVANZA – Spanish Teacher Training in Seville
Professional development for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) Innovative methodology, international networking, and cultural immersion in Seville. AVANZA is an annual Spanish teacher training course designed for educators of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) who are seeking fresh approaches, new tools, and a unique cultural experience in Seville, Spain. Organized by St. Gabriel’s International, an Instituto Cervantes-accredited center, AVANZA offers expert-led training, hands-on workshops, and cultural immersion—all in one transformative week in southern Spain.

Once you have completed the transfer for the full course fee and sent the proof of payment to finanzas@stgabriel.es, we will confirm your participation in the event and secure your spot.

Cancellation Policy

Registered participants can cancel their attendance at Avanza by sending a written request via email to avanza@stgabriel.es. The cancellation deadlines are as follows:

VOLUNTARY CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations received before January 15, 2023 – 80% refund of the registration fee. 
  • Cancellations received between January 15, 2023, and January 31, 2023 – 50% refund of the registration fee. 
  • Cancellations received after January 31, 2023 – No refunds will be issued. 

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE

Force majeure refers to an unforeseen and unavoidable event that alters the conditions of your obligation. The following reasons are considered valid for force majeure cancellations: 

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Hospitalization (self or immediate family member)
  • Death of an immediate family member
  • Events recognized as force majeure by legal authorities

In these cases, and provided that proper documentation is submitted, 80% of the registration fee will be refunded. The remaining 20% will cover administrative and processing costs. Once the cancellation request is verified, the school will conduct the necessary checks and process the refund, including a breakdown of participation and service fees, within a maximum of 15 business days.
